  • The first way is the easiest way to just stick it on a paper tag with double-sided tape or glue. (Christmas tree in the image)

  • Felt

Gift tag 1: Just cut and paste! How to Make a Paper Kraft Gift Tags (Christmas Tree)ย 

    1. Cut out the fabric

      ใƒปCut the felt to fit the size of the stitched patch.

      ใƒปThe size of the paper tag used in this project is 6.5 cm x 13 cm๏ผˆโ‰ˆ2.6" x 5.2"๏ผ‰. The tree design size is 25 x 39 stitches (4.54 x 7.08 cm or 1.79 x 2.79 inches). 14 count Aida fabric was used, but there is still plenty of room around the tag!

    2. Fringe the Ends

      To fringe the ends of your tags, use a needle to remove one square of thread from each row as shown in the photo. Repeat the process for the second and third rows, remove as many threads as you want to make the fringe.

    3. Put a fray check on

      Put a fray check on the edge of the fabric to prevent further fraying.

    4. Attach the stitched patch

      Attach the stitched patch to the tag using double-sided tape or glue.

  2. Sew the felt and your stitched patch together

  3. End a stitch

    Bring the needle out a little farther from the end of the stitch on the back of the gift tag, and cut the thread while pulling it.

    To fringe the ends of your tags, remove the thread around it as well as the Christmas tree gift tag.
